The 8 Channel DVR Systems

The DVR system has an advantage in viewing and recording events that will transpire over a smaller 4 Channel DVR system. Affording a larger protected area of security for the dwelling and business, the 8 camera DVR has greater accessibility for expansion.

For a better, sharper, clearer picture on the video, the arrangement of the DVR system produces high resolute images transported with H.264 compression over the internet. Every channel of the DVR is optimized with surveillance video created for quality recording.
Another one of a kind feature on most 8 camera systems is to activate the navigation when the surveillance cameras are recording video. This is useful feature to review video without having to stop the recording of new video. Most 8 DVR card are supported with H.264 video compression at CIF resoluteness. This will provide Precision transmission for viewing the video over the internet in provided through the compression and resolution specifications.
DVRs have a Real Time Display and register video frames at 24 plus FPS for recording and transmission of clear images with very little lapsed time. The user can enjoy action as it actually happens.

2.1mm Wide View 690TVL Ultra WDR Pixim SEAWOLF Sensor Chip OSD Camera

A variety of FPV model cameras allow the pilot to fly First Person View (FPV) as if sitting in the airplane. This view is the same as seen by pilots of full size aircraft. In FPV flight, it is easy to know the direction of the four axis. Most FPV uses a small RC camera providing a resolution of 380 – 520 lines.  However, everything has an exception.

This ultra WDR camera with 2.1mm wide angle lens adopts Pixim’s innovative SEAWOLF image sensor and DPS (Digital Pixel System) technology. The 690TVL-E high resolution and 120dB WDR ensure brilliant image quality under any brightness environment or low illumination environments, which is excellent than any other general camera.

The anti-noise technology improves higher S/N, which efficiently reduces the data volume of digital storage and transmission. It is suitable for any occasion.

Pixim’s innovative SEAWOLF image sensor chip:
This camera adopts innovative DPS (Digital Pixel System) image sensor and image processing technology, which ensure wider dynamic range and limit exposure, in other words, it is some kind of analog CCD.

Ultra Wide Dynamic Range:
The capturing wide dynamic range is 102dB typical and can reach 120dB maximum.

High Effective Resolution:
Image resolution is 690TVL-E, offering enhanced horizontal and vertical resolution image.

News—Beware Security Cameras in Cinemas

Pirates who secretly record movies in cinema halls could find themselves are recorded instead, as more cinema operators’ turn to security cameras to nab offenders.

Shaw Theatres, which runs six cineplexes here, is the latest operator to install these devices.

It recently put in security cameras in its new multiplexes in nex and JCube shopping malls, as well as older halls that have been renovated such as Lido.

Shaw’s vice-president of media Terence Heng said the security cameras served multiple functions: as a piracy deterrent, for troubleshooting technical issues, and for reviewing disputes with customers.

He added that patrons are informed that the halls are monitored by security cameras in a message flashed before the start of the movie.

But piracy remains a problem here, said other cinema operators and intellectual property lawyers.

Latest statistics from the police showed that between 2010 and last year, there were 18 reported cases of cinema patrons using digital devices to capture movie clips.

The most recent case this year may have taken place last week, in a Golden Village (GV) cinema.

GV’s spokesman said the offender was spotted when staff were making their rounds in cinema halls.

GV has been installing security cameras within its 10 cinemas as part of its security procedures.

Another big cinema operator, Cathay Organization, has between 40 and 100 security cameras installed in its five multiplexes, although not inside the halls.

They are put up in walkways to cinema halls, exits and projection rooms.

GV declined to reveal details of its latest case but said this was not the first time someone has been caught in the recording act.

How to Focus a Security Camera

A lot of security cameras allow 0.05 mm of fine-tuning flexibility so that you can obtain the correct focus. Whether you use a “C-mount” or “CS-mount” lens, accurate and detailed viewing is essential. Setting the lens into perfect focus could play back clearer images.

If the camera is placed in doors, you should switch the “IRIS” option to “Electronic Auto IRIS”. For outdoor setting, use a “Video Iris” type lens and then move the “Iris” select switch to the “VI” position. Alternatively, for outdoor use, install a "Direct Current Iris (DC)" lens and then move the "Iris" select switch to "DC."

And the following thing you need to do is rotating the "C-Mount/CS-Mount" lever counterclockwise very slowly and set the focus. Lock the lever at the desired setting. Rotate the "C-Mount Lens/CS-Mount Lens" lever counterclockwise very slowly and set the focus. Lock the lever at the desired setting.

Do You Need a Car Camera

There are many benefits to using an onboard car camera. Not only will the system protect you as you are driving, it will also act as a car security device when your vehicle is parked. This is done via a clever event car camera recorder data system that initiates recording when significant ‘G’ force to the vehicle is detected by the camera. Importantly, these event files not only capture the incident itself, but also record the moments prior to it and immediately afterwards.

If fitting a car camera is something that you are interested in then you can find a range of car camera systems available online. These systems can vary and it is best to find a car camera to suit your specific requirements. There are a few important features to bear in mind. Firstly, remember that the location within your vehicle of your camera/cameras is important. A forward facing camera will protect the vehicle’s front, whilst a reversing car will protect the back of the vehicle. Secondly, the size of the system is important as you may or may not want the system to be glaringly obvious. Finally, you may want to think about the length of recording time you desire for your camera, depending on the camera’s application, your typical road usage and parking habits.

News—-Florence Police Installs Security Cameras to Crack Down On Crime

A police department in the Shoals turns to CCTV video to help fight crime, but it’s not just criminals caught on security camera.

Florence Police can watch the downtown without ever leaving the office after the department installed video security cameras throughout downtown.

Police hope what’s caught on tape can help crack down on crime.

But these cameras are rolling and recording every day, all day long.  The cameras are monitored by dispatch and police supervisors.

While the cameras may be out of sight, on top of street lights and buildings they are watching everything going on down on the ground.  Some Florence residents question if law enforcement efforts put some people’s privacy in jeopardy to catch a criminal.

Goins says he’s already seen the benefits of this added CCTV video.

And now with cameras in place, Goins says police can turn to technology to help expose the crime.

The Florence Police Department spent nearly $35,000 to install seven cameras and the software used to monitor the area.  Chief Singleton hopes to get more cameras installed throughout the city.

Hybrid Security Camera Systems

A video encoder (also known as an ip video server) digitizes analog video signals and sends digital images directly over an IP network, essentially turning an analog video system into a network video system and enabling users to view live images using a Web browser or video management software on any local or remote computer on a network.
The Hybrid systems usually consist of a PC with a PCI or PCIe DVR card installed to provide inputs for the number of traditional security cameras as well as a license for added IP security cameras. With this type of system, all of the cameras can be viewed on the PC screen and recorded together onto the hard drive. These analog surveillance and IP cameras can then also be viewed remotely together over the internet from a PC, Laptop, BlackBerry, Android PDA phone, iPhone, iPad and many other cell phones as well.
With hybrid capable security camera DVR systems, home and business owners can start out with analog security cameras alone, and simply add license later for added IP cameras or additional cards for more traditional security cameras. The ability to expand the system slowly and use both newer and older technology together make hybrid systems a great choice to help meet budgetary requirements and still deliver desired features and picture quality. When building your next security camera system, consider finding a system that will allow both lower budget and higher definition IP cameras together.

New Technology Makes Home CCTV Systems Smarter

New technology makes home CCTV systems smarter and in all those cases the factor that these systems have in common is people. People, with eyes, watching monitors to determine the cause of your sounding alarm, are the technology that ultimately stops the burglar in his or her tracks.
A monitored home CCTV system is linked to a monitoring centre, which should be manned 24 hours per day. When you buy a monitored home system, it is very important to check this. Theres no sense in getting a system where no one works in the monitoring centre on holidays, for example: when presents and festive make it even more likely that an opportunist burglar will strike. Thats why some home insurance policies actually insure you for more value over festival periods automatically.
When an alarm event happens, the monitors show it up. Someone will then call the number you have provided, for you to verify that its a genuine alarm and not just the kids messing around, or the dog lolloping in front of the sensor after you have armed the system ready to go out. If you say that its a real event, your home CCTV company will then contact the police, who will immediately attend your address.
There are other technologies designed to outsmart burglars pressure pads, heat sensors and motion detectors, for example but as they can all also be triggered by a dog, theyre not completely without error. And ultimately the thing that really makes sure your home CCTV system beats the burglar is the alarm event itself where and how the alarm is raised, and what is done to respond to it.
